Jessica has always loved two things – animals and art. She grew up on 5 acres in the Texas Hill Country surrounded by 100’s of chickens and all the wildlife and predators they bring in.
Predators, which threatened her chickens or their eggs became her first taxidermy projects.
She learned the basics of taxidermy on her own and had a number of successful projects.
In 2019, she formalized her taxidermy skills by attending and graduating from the Central Texas School of Taxidermy in Snyder, Texas under a Master Taxidermist.
She apprenticed until she graduated from Taxidermy school in Santa Anna, Texas.
Currently she has completed numerous projects and is launching her taxidermy business in the fall of 2020.
